This beautiful self catering holiday Cottage will cater for all your holiday needs. It has a pretty walled cottage front garden with a bench by the front door-perfect for watching village life across from part of the village green.
From here you enter into the living room with its picture book window seat, log burning fire, beamed ceiling, oak floors and leather cottage suite.
The beautifully light dining kitchen is at the rear of the cottage with patio doors that open onto the private walled courtyard garden with garden table and chairs. The kitchen is well equipped with fitted country style cream units, hand made tiles, country chic crockery and patio doors opening directly into the courtyard garden. Part of the kitchen roof is glass so this room is beautifully light and airy.
The bathroom is hidden away between the living room and dining kitchen but again is spacious, light and airy with a bath with rainshower over.
Upstairs is the kingsize bedroom with views over the village green, window seat and original cast iron bedroom fireplace (not in use). This room is romantic and quirky with its wavy beams and crooked walls. A rooflight and the pitched ceiling mean that the room is light and fresh.
Woodburning stove in the living room, programmable electric storage heaters throughout the cottage but with underfloor heating in bathroom. Dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, electric cooker with ceramic hob and fan oven, fridge with ice box, toaster, cafetiere, flat screen TV in living room Sky TV (Freeview), DVD player and recorder, iPod docking station, radio/cassette/CD player, wireless broadband, tourist information, books, games, shoe cleaning kit, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, torch, bedlinen, towels and teatowels provided, bathroom with bath with shower over, WC, wash hand basin and shaver point. Private rear patio garden with furniture, front walled cottage garden with bench. Tea tray provided for your arrival.
Electricity and first basket of logs included in the rental-further supplies of logs can be bought from the owner across the road. Towels included. Sorry no smoking inside the cottage. One well behaved pet welcome by prior arrangement. Village pub and shop 2 minutes walk. Full range of shops, hotels, restaurants, cafes and visitor attractions in Richmond 3 miles away.
Parking is available on the road directly outside the cottage which you may wish to use for unloading. There is also a public car park in the village hall one minutes walk away from the cottage-parking is on a first come first serve basis but is not usually a problem.
